This commission from Eva Legêne was inspired by my multi-channel work Beer Garden. I played the work while in residence at the TC Steele Historic Site in Nashville, Indiana, and Eva asked for a piece using those sounds she could play on recorder. In this work, I generate chords and melodies algorithmically (using Python), then composed the recorder part around those electronic sounds.
