Rebecca Morgan Frank and I had collaborated on a couple pieces when I had the idea to create an electronics piece that was entirely comprised of her voice. In ghazal::unbound, Morgan uses the poetic form of a ghazal with some short stanzas all ending with "unbound." I then recorded her reading the poem, and manipulated her voice using RTcmix to create this electroacoustic composition. It is originally for four channels.
